Black Mountain was designed and landscaped from lush jungle and pineapple plantations located less than 25 minutes from Hua Hin. It got its name from huge black granite rock moutain formations surrounding the valley in which the course was built.

 

The club has won many many awards, and hosted many many tournaments.  A short list would include being consistently ranked ‘Best Course in Thailand’: Black Mountain by Golf Digest magazine since 2011, ‘Best Championship Course in Asia Pacific’ by Asian Golf Monthly in 2016 and recognised multiple times as Top 100 Golf Courses in the World’ in Golf Digest's list of the top 100 golf courses in the world.

Like many other top courses in Thailand, the course is in mint conditions throughout the year.  In fact, on its website, the Club proudly “challenge any golf course in the world on speed and smoothness on the greens on a daily basis over the year”.

Banyan Golf Club is the other top notch course in Hua Hin which has won no less accolades including being named ‘Best Golf Course in Thailand’ at the 2019 World Golf Awards, consistently rated ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in the World’ in Golf Digest's list of the top 100 golf courses in the world as well as winning the cove’ted Best Golf Course in Thailand’ for the Asia Golf Awards repeatedly.

The course provides for spectacular mountain and ocean views from almost all of the holes and is one of the best layouts in Hua Hin. Golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course, which features wide fairways, strategic bunkers, and water hazards that add an extra level of challenge.
